All fat is not the same,Visceral Fat is very different from the Subcutaneous Fat that lies just below the surface of the skin. Visceral fat is the internal fatty tissue that surrounds our vital organs, it causes inflammation and an excess of this fat has been linked to Diabetes, Stroke, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, Cancer and Heart Disease.
The problem is that you don’t need to be obviously overweight to have a high content of Visceral fat because its not a weight problem, it’s a toxicity problem. Usually men and women carry the visceral fat internally around the abdomen, as a general guideline the waist circumference at the level of the belly button should be no greater than half of your height.
Other more accurate ways of measuring Visceral fat include Bioelectrical Impedance scales which send a harmless electrical current through the body that can identify the difference between muscle, organ and fat tissue.
The most accurate way of testing would be via a CT scan but exposes the person to high levels of Radiation so are not recommended for general purposes. If you don’t have expensive scales to measure your Visceral fat then a simple circumference measurement formula can be used to track your progress. Start by measuring the waist circumference across the belly button and divide it by the hip circumference, which is measured across the widest part of the buttocks. Visceral fat is considered high if the ratio is greater than 1 in men and 0.85 in women.
What most people are not aware of is that visceral fat is alive, its an endocrine organ similar to the other organs within the human body, it secretes chemicals and hormones that can impact your hormones and immune function and even raise cortisol level, it is toxic, poisonous and highly dangerous to have too much of it.
Correct diet and exercise isn’t as effective at reducing the Visceral fat as other means such as a powerful detoxification program. Personally, I have found that by combining Dr Yu’s Niacin flush protocol with a good detoxification regime and stress management techniques you can rapidly reduce the amount of dangerous Visceral fat from the system.
Niacin, which is Vitamin B3 in doses between 50-5000mg literally causes the fat cell to explode releasing the toxic chemicals directly from the cell. It is important to always administer the Niacin in conjunction with Charcoal or Bentonite Clay to mop up the toxins and control the cleansing reactions. It is also recommended to combine a Niacin flush with rebounding following by a sauna to direct the elimination of toxins out via the largest organ, being the skin.
